Positions Available & Descriptions
PRESIDENt
The President is the primary spokesperson for CASA and oversees the day-to-day operations of the council. They lead meetings, delegate tasks, guide decision-making, and ensure strong communication between CASA, student clubs, and faculty. The President works to represent and advocate for the interests of all AMPD students.
Vice-President of Finance
The VP Finance manages CASA’s financial operations, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and preparing for audit periods. They ensure transparency, accountability, and responsible use of funds while supporting CASA events, initiatives, and affiliated clubs. This role works closely with the council to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
Vice-President of Initiatives
The Vice President of Initiatives is responsible for organizing, promoting, and hosting CASA’s student events. They oversee and delegate tasks to the Promotions Team, manage CASA’s social outreach efforts, and collaborate with council members to brainstorm and develop new initiative ideas. This role also coordinates event volunteers and ensures CASA initiatives run smoothly from planning to execution.
Speaker
The Speaker leads CASA’s weekly meetings, ensuring they are run smoothly, efficiently, and in an unbiased manner. They prepare and distribute the weekly meeting agenda in advance, guide discussions using Robert’s Rules of Order, and maintain in-depth knowledge of CASA’s Constitution to ensure all procedures and decisions follow proper governance.
Chief Returning Officer
The Chief Returning Officer oversees CASA’s election process from start to finish. They plan and execute elections, ensure compliance with SCLD guidelines and CASA’s Constitution, and uphold fairness and transparency throughout the electoral process.
Council Administrator
The Council Administrator supports CASA behind the scenes by taking accurate meeting minutes, tracking attendance, and recording key discussions and decisions. They help maintain organized records and ensure council operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout the year.
Director of Promotions (2)
The Directors of Promotions are responsible for promoting CASA events and initiatives across campus. They create engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, collaborate with student clubs, and help increase visibility through both digital outreach and in-person promotion.

Winters College Council Representative
The Winters College Council Representative serves as a bridge between CASA and Winters College Council. They attend meetings for both councils and help maintain communication, collaboration, and shared initiatives between the two arts communities.
